Today I wanted to announce a new way for us Lions to spice up the daily activity here on LeoFinance. I love betting and gambling but I am also aware of the devil that lies in it. I think the worst is that you actually play a losing game with only sometimes having the illusion of beating the house. So I think there is a big difference between gambling and a competitive giveaway like this.

This has been inspired by @kryptodenno and his daily giveaway.

Let's bet on what the price of Leo is going to be tomorrow!

It is easy: you type in a Number until 5:00 am Berlin time tomorrow, whoever is closest at 12:00 am Berlin time wins 1 Leo.

I chose the timeframe in a manner that allows American Lions to comment their number until late evening. I will post daily, announcing the winner of the day before and giving you another chance to win 1 Leo for the next 7 days. After that the price for the daily Not-a-Lottery will be 50% of my LEO payout of the Not-a-Lottery post that just became 8 days old. When I recoup the 14 Leo I invest into this project the price money will rise to 80% of my LEO payout . If the project really takes off I might even use parts of my 20% to hire @eirik or @friendlymoose to do some artwork for the project. I will keep all hive payouts to myself for now, this might be subject for future debate.

Four rules:

you don't need need to upvote this post to participate - just to make sure this is really Not a Lottery

you can change your number until 6:00 am Berlin time tomorrow

I will use the Leo Price shown by my LeoFinance interface at 12:00 am

same numbers will split the price money as well as equal distant ones (ie 6.995$ and 7.005$ when actual price is 7.000$)

Thoughts behind the project

I have two reasons why this is valuable for LEO: People who like betting have an opportunity to make an educated guess and even influence the outcome, I think this is far superior to pure random number guessing. Second reason I see is that these posts are going to be a good opportunity for high stakes Leo holders to give to the less fortunate but active users.

If you disagree with me running this project please let me know in the comments
