Happy Thanksgiving

It's Thanksgiving in the US and this is my annual Thanksgiving Day post. Or should I say Tanksgiving with the BTC dip... Just wow. Terrible pun I know! Sorry I couldn't resist!

So I have to post this every year. William S. Burroughs was one of my favorite writers. I absolutely love this video of him reciting a Thanksgiving Prayer

Some people seem to get offended by this but I think there is a lot of truth to it. Plus, it's just Burroughs being Burroughs. He always had an eloquent, cynical way of looking at and describing things.

So Thanksgiving in The Dood's house is a small family gathering. We debated this year what we wanted to do and everyone agreed UNANIMOUSLY that we wanted the family thanksgiving. So it's beer, football, the Macy's Day Parade (watching as I write this) then much Turkey, beer (said that already... priorities) and pecan pie covered in whipped cream!

Family of course. They drive me nuts sometimes but I love them!
