Thursday Night Live Draft Show!!!

So the NFL draft is coming up this week. Teams have done all of their scouting, preparing, and contemplating, and come Thursday night in Cleveland (yay Cleveland!!) they will try and build the future of their respective franchises by getting the missing pieces to their puzzle of a roster. for a sports nerd like me, this is like Christmas in April every year and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of it. Although I profess to be the self-proclaimed Sports nerd, I do not approach the draft like the talking heads over on ESPN or NFL Network, I do not publish mock drafts, nor do I create a mock draft even for myself. I like to predict who will go where but I never put pen to paper as it is all in my head (there is a lot of free space up there) and see how it all plays out on draft night. To me, it is must-see TV and I settle in with a snack and a beverage and enjoy the pomp and circumstance of the whole process. I don’t have the patience to sit down in front of a computer and do all the research needed for a mock draft, besides no patience I really can’t spare the time to do it all, I have a job I am responsible too and do not get paid for my love of sports (though it would be a dream to do so) so I act like a passive observer and enjoy the show.

With that being said, this Thursday night at 7:30 pm Eastern The Nerds are gonna do an NFL Draft selection show covering the first 10 picks in the draft. Join me, Jon, Eliot, and Ken as we watch the draft in real-time, discuss the picks, critique the picks, and provide an overall opinion on how well we feel each team did with their selection.
