There is for sure merit to encouraging big names to start using Steem, Pewdie Pie for example has been pulled off to other platforms for his influence and validation. But my post was misunderstood, that wasn't the idea, it is a longshot to get the channel owner to use Steem, but the fact that Steem is being discussed openly in the comments of their channel could entice their followers who are normal people to use Steem, it should also help with SEO and backlink score I think.
