As almost everything is getting tokenized, the concept of bound tokens can be made for anything that doesn't have to be bought and sold.
I am eager to learn what applications they would be making out of this.
As of now, I can think of certificates (as you have said) and reputation tokens (e.g. Michelin stars) from different organizations. This reputation tokens can then increase their profit in return.
