The Coin Logic Evolution Continues - Economic News - Charts- and More!
Hello everyone! I want to tell you about some changes to the Coin Logic. This site uses the CoinGecko API to get the latest updated price and market information from the entire crypto market. This was actually the first blockchain related site that I created. I did this for a few reasons.
One, I got tired of having to go to so many different sites to get my crypto research. For newbies, it was extremely difficult to find all the information I wanted because you have to go to so many different websites. So, me being a Wordpress guy, I started researching how to get all the data feeds I needed to build my own research site. I found the plugins and tools and went to work! The result has been a constant evolution, even had to start from scratch at one point, but it is a site I am proud of.
Second reason was that I wanted to just get my feet wet with building my first crypto site. I had the aspirations of being an influencer one day... Hasn't been going like I wanted, but that is on me and I am working hard every video and TA post on being a better crypto influencer. One day maybe Coin Logic can be one of the forefronts of crypto research! That and I just like to build cool things and challenge myself!
So now let's look at the latest evolution!
New Front Page Look
I wanted to give as much info on the front page as possible, but that has caused issues with loading problems and just having to scroll too much to get the info you wanted. As I grow as a designer and developer, I like to make as many optimizations as I can. Not only did the backend get seriously optimized, but so did the front end.
Each section has its own tab and window. The front page now opens to a live data feed of the Top 100 crypto assets and can show the entire marketplace!
The second tab is the Trending tab. This tab contains the Top 10 gainers and losers of the top 100. It also contains the Bitcoin Fear and Greed index as well as the daily technical analysis meter from TradingView.
The third tab is the Charts tab. This tab has a full on TradingView chart that you can draw on, add the primary TradingView indicators, etc... You just cannot save the chart. It reloads with the site.
This tab also contains below the main chart, a series of smaller BTC charts broken down into 4 different time frames. You have the 1 minute next to the 1 hour, then below you have the 1 Day and the 1 Week timeframes. This allows you to look at both the small term and longer term time frames all at the same time.
Then the fourth tab is the Coin Logic Index. These are the tokens that I am invested in. It changes occasionally as I move in and out of investments so you can follow at least the different assets I am invested in. I do this so I can have a quick look at how the portfolio is doing.
New Economy Page
The next big change is I changed the 'Macro Research' page into the 'Economy' page. This page is where you can get a look at charts from the major indexes, futures, bonds, and forex pairing.
Then you can look at some macro economic charts like the M2 money supply, CPI, US GDP, US Interest Rates, Mortgage Interest rates, etc.
After that you can check out the latest posts from 'The Economist Explains' columns from https://economist.com as well as the US Federal Reserve main RSS feed, so you can track what they are saying.
What Other Features Would You Like To See?
I am working hard to try and not only build a site for my own crypto fundamental and technical research, but I am building this for the greater crypto community!
What are some things you would like to see added to Coin Logic?
The goal is to eventually be able to get into some live trading streams, an NFT membership based Discord server to talk trading, DEFI, or anything, in an exclusive group. Also looking to produce a solid weekly newsletter.
I would also like to get some more writers on board that would like to help see Coin Logic grow! We can create you an account on Coin Logic and you can post professional crypto research articles, news, and tutorial articles, and not only will they show on Coin Logic, they can also be linked and posted to your Hive and LeoFinance account! At this point, I can't pay so it would be all about rewards, but hopefully in the future, we can build more revenue with either content, advertising, sponsors, or any other revenue we can bring in to help grow the platform!
I would eventually like to go toe to toe with the likes of CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph.
