I often miss the bi weekly questions, but whenever I see it an it resonates with what's currently something that keeps me busy in my life, I try to join and answer. This week's question is one of these questions.
What is your main focus, moving forward into the second half of this year, what is it that you wish to manifest?
In other words, it's time to reflect on the first half of the year!
Our year started better than any other previous year!
I will never forget how we accidentally discovered on January the 2nd, that we had received the UNI airdrop, which was totally unknown to us that it would happen. At the time of discovery, the drop was almost 2k in value. I could not believe an airdrop would stay worth that much, so we sold, you see, we didn't have diamond hands yet in January! Fear of losing the money, while needing to buy a car, we said: "We just got our car airdropped from magic internet money!" and so we sold, and put the money in other project. Financially, we can say the first six months have been better than any other year as well. That's not the most important thing, money, but it sure helps to achieve other things!
Learning a lot about crypto
As we finally had some funds to play around with, we also started to gain more interest to learn about crypto, trading and also learn how to have those diamond hands! We've seen the market in the green, the excitement of reaching another milestone in our portfolio, and we (so did you probably, lol) saw the market crash completely just recently. But I guess it's true what they say, you can't learn how to trade when the market only goes up. You need these corrections, and you need to learn to take profits. It has been joy, frustration and sometimes even sadness when I saw the portfolio in half. BUT I kept my head up high, and thought about the things I learned.
The second time, the market crashed not as hard, but I was prepared, and had some stable coins in case I saw a huge dip to buy myself a bag of coins. The funny thing is, that I still haven't used it. I didn't feel the dip was big enough. A week ago, I was dying to have this, now it suddenly wasn't too important anymore, lol.
End of debt in sight, only thanks to magic internet monies!
Although this huge crash in the market just hours after I took out some crypto to pay an amount off our debt, I was sick to my stomach that I didn't just take it all out as now the portfolio even showed less, but who cares, I felt good that I was doing the right thing. The bags with crypto would be filled once this is all behind us. The market needed to recover a bit before I could continue cashing out some crypto to pay some more. My goal is to have it all gone within the month. And you know what, it's going to happen! I will make it happen.. If only some people with debt knew that this can be done with magical internet money!
A huge shift in our professional life
No more employment, but entrepreneurial life for the both of us. I'm so happy things are finally unfolding as they should. There was a bit of stress during the big transition, but I guess that's normal. I believe this is really just the beginning of our life with more possibilities. Things are better financially, we have a car after years being depended on public transport, we have a better apartment, and this all brings more quality of life. Especially now I finally got over my fear of driving as well. I gained a lot of freedom myself by doing so. And in the end, everything is connected. It will all unfold as it should be..
The last part of the year
Will first be a combination of working hard an playing hard because summer is around the corner. After being inside so long, we allow ourselves to go out and do some day trips, to get the most out of having a car. It's all such an enlightenment for all of us. Seeing more than our neighborhood!
I will be saving up money as well, to make sure we will be able to move to Spain next year, this is the main goal where we're working towards. We're not pinning an exact date on it just yet, because life may decide otherwise when we do. But next year before Spring, would be great. We're going to be flexible though, especially due to the pandemic rules etc. We can't control those things happening.
While we're saving up, I'm also excited that soon I will add Spanish classes to our home schooling hours in the afternoons that my daughter is at home. I plan on making sure she knows the basics of Spanish before we leave.
On top of that, both of us are quite busy educating ourselves about different things. I have another course that I should finish in the near future and I'm also trying to learn new skills like creating video content. So many projects that I'm eager to start working on this year, but all at the right time. It will all work out, I feel it in every cell of my body, and I have to tel you this is a great feeling, as it feels like a confirmation that I will manifest it all. It sure helps that we are on the same page (my boyfriend and me) regarding goals and manifesting things.
