You've got to love this initiative!

This is my response to @theycallmedan's initiative how crypto and blockchain technology has impacted my personal finance. I could skip this one, as blockchain technology has changed my finances like it has for many others that found Hive. On top of that, it will be another great opportunity to make some new valuable connections on the chain. So let's do this, below (some) of my personal experiences of how blockchain technology has changed my finances.

Although I love the votes, of course, I also realize all too well that it’s not the vote only making it worth to post something, the connections that I’ve made this year on Hive are incredibly valuable in many ways. I’ve met a bunch of like-minded people and these people altogether have so much knowledge that it would take me forever to take all that knowledge in. I’ve learned many things by reading in the communities I love and the support is honestly something that keeps me going even when I have a bad day. May it be with humor that someone lights up my day, or a post where something is shared that tears me up and makes me remember that the little things count, Hivers got it all. So the financial part of writing on the chain isn't the most important one.

Fun fact: Do you know that because of Hive, I learned to be much more creative on a budget regarding healthy food?

I truly believe that there's seriously a place for each and every one of us, and I hope that many more like-minded people will find Hive!

For the first time in my life, I invested in a project that pays out daily dividends. I always had the idea in my head that you should bring a huge pile of money to be able to invest in something to make it worth your while. Now I believe you have to start somewhere and I will probably start investing more over time when there’s money to spare for that. Just a few years ago, I wasn't even able to get to the end of the month and had nothing left in my fridge to eat. Now, I'm adding some funds earned thanks to the chain and even find a way to invest part of that. How cool is that?

I can honestly say that without the Hive blockchain, I had never invested in a project on the blockchain with some tokens on another website called hive-engine (lol). Probably I'd never even dare to invest in anything like stocks either. Hive is a huge pool of knowledge and because of reading here, I learn more about things I'd otherwise never knew about.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to constantly cash out my earnings at all. It’s just a nice feeling to know that if I need some extra cash for something, or maybe see a great deal of an item I really need or want, I can cash out some cryptocurrency. This has been made possible by the Hive blockchain. I can’t even imagine anymore how it feels to run out of cash at the end of the month and not knowing how to solve it. Writing on a blockchain really changed my life in that sense and I’m really thankful for that.

For example, the holiday month is so expensive often in total if you count decorating, gifts and food. We honestly had a few very low-budget Christmas years here, we just couldn’t afford more.. This year it’s different.. Although I managed to save a lot of money by crafting 4 Christmas (see my posts), I also have the opportunity to cash out some crypto for a gift in a higher price range now. It feels good to be able to do so.

Thankful for the support <3

Conclusion

The technology behind this beloved blockchain has opened up many doors for me. I'm not even sharing all the good things it has brought so far, but these are the most important ones. I feel that where there's a will, there's a way to achieve it. This technology called blockchain is something that has probably changed many lives so far. This is why everyone should embrace it!

I shouldn't forget this:

If you aren't actively using @leofinance yet, please start doing so as this is where the investors are at. To share this great interface with the world of non-hivers, please participate in this:

We are asking the community to make 10 comments a day through the LeoFinance UI. If you are up to this challenge let me know in the comments. I will be supporting comments and I know the engaging LEO community will also help. @theycallmedan's post

I personally committed myself to write 10 valuable comments on the LeoFiance interface every day and with this initiative, it shouldn't even be hard as there will probably be a ton of entries for this one. I've read quite a few great ones already! And on top of the earned HIVE, you will earn even more valuable LEO tokens, so it's a win-win, right?

Thanks for your time, I hope you will join this initiative as well as I can't wait to read many more stories!
