A month that flew by

I had to check when I started ListNerds, but as my first email dates from a month ago, I assume that's the date I joined. It can't be far off anyway. I remember when I joined, I was just browsing and clicking on every button to see what was there and what would happen. Read everything over and over again. But I didn't want to send an email right away, I postponed that for about 4 days. Why? I wanted to see what was sent by others, get a bit of familiarity with the site etc.

Premium membership

While you can perfectly earn with a free membership, I was reading about the benefits and comparing the paid ones to a free membership and then decided I'd first upgrade my membership and then write my first email. With a premium membership, you can send an email every 3 days. This sounded more appealing than once a week. I decided to give this a month to test it and then decide on how to proceed further.

Daily routine

I wrote this before, but I will say it again. I think it's very important to first add ListNerds to your daily routine. This doesn't have to cost much time at all and from there you will slowly integrate more options (like emailing) into that routine. Just start by showing up! Login every day and read 10 emails. You can click on tasks to see what's recommended for you to do each day, week & month.

You are lucky that there are more than 10 emails each day to read, this wasn't the case the first days after I joined.

Let me know if you've been able to add Listnerds to your daily routine already and maybe even started emailing yourself by now.

Rewards

Let's start with the Listnerds earned by emailing. Below you can see my list of emails has all reached the magic 20+ upvotes.

I personally would have prefered sending out an email a day as that gives me the possibility of earning Listnerds every single day. Three days is a long wait, at least it is to me. I usually have something to share or inspiration for content may it be on Hive or emailing in Listnerds.

From my emails I've received 38.112 LISTNERDS so far, which is 76.224 HIVE / $83.08.

But that's not all, I've also received staking rewards for staking CTP & Listnerds tokens. The CTP is quite fluctuating, while listnerds rewards are 3+ every day. That adds another 6 Hive to my daily earnings. This is only growing as more Listnerds are added to the stake.

Referal contest prize

I was lucky to win second place in the referral contest that closed recently. This adds another 200 dollars to my earnings the first month of my ListNerds journey, which is awesome as I can grow my stake even quicker. Once I receive my prize, my daily Listnerds earnings will probably be above 4 tokens each day. So it's a prize that keeps adding to my daily earnings, which is obviously better than selling tokens. I'm not going anywhere so my focus on Listnerds is long-term. Keep building!

Engagement is key

While the monetary rewards are awesome! I have to address the fact that Listnerds is making people engage with people they would have probably never met otherwise. People from Lisnterds have proven to be super supportive and helpful when other members need some guidance. For the engagement alone, I'd recommend you to share one of your Hive posts in an email. See what happens! I bet you'll crave more after you see your comments and views go up rapidly!

Team members

To my team members, I'd like to say that I know the start can be hard, but don't be afraid to send out an email that doesn't get verified. It's like everything else in the world, if you fail, keep trying and you will get better over time. And also know that you are welcome to contact me, my discord ID can be found in every footer of my Hive content.

Good news: the Hive Punk raffle is close! I need to have 3 more referrals before I will throw your names in a bucket and hold the raffle.

Note: my total count of referrals shows 2 people more than the active ones, those that are inactive can't be included as I can't see your username. If you signed up with my ListNerds link, and haven't been active, you can still become active!

Conclusion

After one month of premium membership, I've come to the conclusion that business or enterprise will be more suitable for me so that I won't be waiting that long to send the next mail. There's always something new I can share actually, and if I don't have any new content, there are plenty of people on Hive I would love to give some exposure by sending out their content in an email.

I was leaning more towards getting business at first as it seems that 1 email a day is enough, but now I think about it again, I can always reserve one spot for someone else's content that has helped me, inspired me, taught me something or made me laugh that day. On top of that, I'm hoping to get some more people in a few communities that I'm part of and this will be a great way to get some more eyes on them as well.

I guess next week you'll see my name pop up more often in your mailbox! To me, there's no doubt in my mind that ListNerds will be a HUGE success and onboard a lot of people to Hive.

Let's welcome them and help them out where we can as together we can build!
