Your choice of tags influences payouts.

I think at this point I am hitting critical mass on this topic. It's something I am passionate about since tag choice influences payout and earnings.

Over the past couple of weeks, as the #ctpcontent challenge continued on I spent time studying post tag selection to reward ration.

I made several posts about this topis, some of which are:

I keep posting about this because it matters.

Take a look at the accounts on here that you follow that get lots of upvotes. Then take a look at their tags and how they use them.

Imitate what successful posters do:

  • Stop spamming.
  • Be original.
  • Use images.
  • Make your content compelling.
  • Attract an audience and grow followers.
  • STAKE your tokens.

The best part? This info is available for anyone.

This is Hive blockchain folks. Any of these tools can be run and produce the output showing what any of us have created and earned on here.

In this example, I am using: https://hivelayers-stats.herokuapp.com/

I chose Post Rewards, then option 2 to show All pending posts, entered my username and ran the report. Then at the bottom is a wonderful summary showing the converted value of the second layer tokens these posts earned.

For #spt holders - This report doesn't calculate spt. I earned a decent amount of spt and have some great rewards coming from some upvotes. Unfortunately this tool doesn't show it.

This is what my current pending post second layer payouts look like:

TokenAmount Earned
ALIVE114.2870
ARCHON0.7806
CTP439.0200
LEO18.1940
NEOXAG196.7450
HUSTLER144.6288
POB6.9472

And this handy little tool even tells you the total amount of Hive that would sell for. Nice!

I like having an easy way to see what my payouts are going to look like. Remember: these rewards are both content creation AND curators.

How do YOU use tags?

Give me an example of a tag you love to use and why. leave a comment below.

Peace and Love,
