I almost forgot to check the behaviour of the Top 100 Richest Addresses in BITCOIN at https://bitinfocharts.com/ but now I had a few minutes to do it.

There is a significant price action on the crypto market, in particular on BTC and also these Richest Bitcoiners are showing their strategic moves.

Weekly Status of Top 100 BTC addresses

Here we can see an increase on the total of "active" addresses, non dormant, in particular on those addresses which I refer as "SELLING ADDRESSES".

  • Of the 100 richest addresses only 24 have been active during the last 7 days, 13 of which we can qualify as "BUYING" and 11 as "SELLING" addresses

  • As I said, this is an increase of the active addresses in about 33% more in comparison with last week on which only 18 were active.

  • The graph above denotes that the amount of BITCOIN bought by the top100 is still 1.8 times higher than that sold
  • Last week the proportion was 4 times higher

In this situation, we could say there is a change on the trend of the weekly behaviour of the Top 100 Richest addresses which is pointing towards the selling area but still not sufficient to justify a total change of trend.

Monthly Status of Top 100 BTC addresses

  • only 27 out of 100 BTC Richest addresses have been active for the last 30 days, 17 "BUYING" addresses and only 10 "SELLING" addresses.

  • In total these "WHALES" have bought 99895 BTC (about 4,994,750,000 $ at the current prices) and 35498 BTC have been sold, ie, the amount of BTC being Bought is 2.8 times higher than the sold by these Top Addresses.

Given both, the weekly and monthly data of the Top 100 Addresses, I would maintain the BULLISH Case but we have to keep checking the behaviour on the short term (weekly trend) in order to see more evident signals of bearish movements provided by these whales and react consequently.
