We get stronger...
This morning I had a long telephone conversation with my cousin, who I "recruited" in this crypto world more than 6 years ago now.
Together we have experienced the joys and hardships of two cycles, the second yet to end if it hasn't already.
We remember our entry into Bitcoin and our FOMO for buying and speculating in what we call crypto "candies", among some triumphs of the time, we remember how much we enjoyed buying and selling Stellar, a high-flying shitcoin, or with EOS and participation in the ICO phenomenon and bubble...
From that cycle and, therefore, from the successes but more than the failures, we learned many things that we later tried to apply in the second cycle...
The second cycle, although similar to the previous one, never came to be completely equal. The predictions and extrapolations were not fulfilled, the ICO phenomenon died and it was DeFi that attracted more people, apart from the institutional money.
To tell you the truth, I have always seen most DeFi projects as big nonsense, not all but most. In fact, many of them have been SCAMS of the new cycle as were the ICOs of the previous one, for the most part.
Yes, we made mistakes again, although fewer, we learned to collect as the investment grew, before the TOP. We also buy some shit almost up, and that's not a bad thing if you know you're playing with fire and take the consequences of the associated risk. In summary, nothing has gone wrong for me, I think my cousin hasn't either, although I don't know for sure. My portfolio is still making big gains, and while there may still be a few black swans left to finish off the bears, I don't think any of them will make me lose any of what I invested in the first cycle.
In front of us, a new cycle is appearing.
Lessons learned are available.
Soon we will see what FOMO errors we fall into again but one thing is clear, we are wiser and stronger, we continue to learn and improve, this is the main thing.
