There are many types of investors, but basically there are 2 basic types, those that are based on the analysis of the fundamentals, which is, evaluating a project and determining the intrinsic value of its stock/coin considering the underlying business.

Then there are the investors that rely on technical analysis, which is, investors/analysts use chart patterns and trends, support and resistance levels, and price and volume behavior to identify trading opportunities with positive expectancy. Technical analysis does not consider the underlying business, or the economics that affect the value of a company.

In reality, what happens is a mixture of the two basic types, but many times, the payback time further intensifies the use of one of the two types over the other.

In my opinion, what happens in a bull market is that what proliferates the most is the second type of investor, the one that is based on technical analysis and the quickest return on investment and, in particular on the crypto world, this aspect is further accentuated.

What works best in bullish times in the crypto world?

There are two key points.

  1. Visibility of the project, its marketing (Basic Fundamentals)
  2. Good historical results in the past on which to base the investment (technical Analysis)

What happens with HIVE?

Basically, We remain being invisible and, despite our good fundamentals and the effort of all active users (I have read that we are around 20,000 in the last post of @therealwolf) to reach beyond our blockchain in media such as twitter, for example, this doesn't seem to be enough.

Our history, inherited from STEEM, is not helping us at all... we are still stabilized at 0.2 USD / token, although we have been a few days of what seems to be the beginning of a global Bull Market (still to be confirmed).

Surely, there are still many things to improve in our blockchain, new hardforks to launch, new projects to develop etc, etc...
Exactly the same as any other serious blockchain project with a future. For instance, ETHEREUM or CARDANO do not stop doing it but I feel like we continue to fail in the communication of our improvements and in the publicity of our project.

Ultimately, we continue to fail in the aspect of MARKETING.

Why? I have no idea...

Is the idea of "Be rewarded for your content in a free-speech, decentralized blockchain" so hard to sell? or "earn crypto while supporting content creators"?

Crypto projects like BAT from BRAVE browser offer similar and even simpler messages, "Be rewarded for watching advertisements".

Guys, we are failing on efficiently promoting our project... I wonder if we should not take more serious the funding of a good advertising campaign.

What do you think @blocktrades? Could we raise a DHF on that object as well? could we pay any private advertising company that works on that purpose pay by the funds of the proposal?
