Official Winners List for #HivePUD (Hive Power Up Day) March 1st, 2023

Another awesome Hive Power Up Day done and dusted, in what feels like record time. I can't tell you how much easier it was to get these posts out this month! Whoever said, "team work makes the dream work" was definitely on to something. 😂

And speaking of getting these posts out, as always I've set a 20% beneficiary for this last HivePUD post of the month to my numbers man extraordinaire, @abh12345, who is always so awesome at getting me the data I need to figure this all out. And this month, I've added my new team members @livinguktaiwan and @erikah as beneficiaries on all three Hive Power Up Day monthly posts, which is the least I can do to show them how much I appreciate their help!

Another group of people I appreciate is our Hive Power Up Day sponsors - while it's been said many times that even just powering up Hive to your account is a win, the kind folks who offer prizes make it that much more fun. And a quick side note to them - as always, I'll be doing the drawings and delegations in the morning, and as I started last month, I'll send everyone a message on Discord with the link to the comment I drop below this post. Thanks again to all of you for your support!

One more thing before I get to the final results, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this month's #hivepud, either through powering up, posting, offering prizes, or spreading the word.

This month, we had:

  • 220 posts on the 1st tagged with #HivePUD, #HPUD, and/or #HispanicHPUD tags.
  • 196 people who powered up and posted on the 1st using #HivePUD, #HPUD, and/or #HispanicHPUD tags, with 124 of those qualifying for prizes.
  • 15,356.176 Hive (worth approx $6,910.28) powered up from Hive Power Up Day participants during the hours of the first via their local time.
  • 94,488.843 Hive (worth approx $42,519.98 USD) powered up by 471 people during the 24 hour UTC time set to earn @hivebuzz badges (check out their Feedback from the March Hive Power Up Day post for more info).

As of August 2021, there are a few prizes for accounts who don't qualify for the main prize pool. Meaning: if your power up was under 10 Hive, your account was under 100 Hive Power or more than 8000, and/or your reputation was under 39 or over 70 before you powered up, you still have a chance of winning a prize!

I'm planning to revamp the rules a little, to include a bit about "only individual accounts can win prizes" sort of thing that came up this month. I may also try making the prize list a little more streamlined and easier to read.
