Be it fear of the risks of investing, wanting to explore the crypto world without paying beforehand or living in a country with a weak economy where the USD is worth 10x your currency, it's possible to start earning without spending!

Don't be mistaken, nothing is truly for free: instead of paying with money you will be using your time and labor, and I'm here to try and help you use both in the most efficient manner possible.

One of the first things you must aim for is a scholarship on Pegaxy or Axie infinity, both games have systems where NFT owners rent their NFTs to other players for profit share (pegaxy system is way better and safer than Axie's because the crypto received is automatically shared between accounts so there is no way for the manager to uphold the scholar payment)

While a Scholarship is a guaranteed way of receiving a decent income from p2e it can take some time or luck to get one out of the multiple gaming guilds offering them.

So here's what you could (and should) be doing while waiting to receive a scholarship or for your in-game energy to recharge:

Free to Play games and Crypto Faucets

Our approach will be a mix of getting small amounts of crypto and reinvesting in games. With time and patience you will be able to get a reasonable amount of money regularly and in some months maybe even able to quit your job and live from crypto entirely.

Most free games are scams or have little to no payout though, but the 3 games I am currently playing and that you can really withdraw money from are Rising Star, Alien Worlds and Rollercoin.

Rising Star

Rising Star is by far the best free play to earn game I have seen. Great community, multiple ways of getting income, easy gameplay and it's on hive Blockchain, one of the best and most eco-friendly blockchains out there.

An indepth guide is in the works and as soon as it's ready the link will be listed here.

For the finality of this guide the resumed version below will suffice.

The gameplay is based on sending your wanna be rockstar on shows and tours which award you with starbits. Each missions require energy to start (energy recharges at a 1 per 5 minutes rate) and have a timer for completion. This will be your main font of income on this game.

At the time of writing 4000 starbits are equal to 1 USD. It may seem a lot of starbits but on your first missions you already can easily get hundreds of starbits and the max amount will scale with the numbers of fans you have.

The end game objective is reaching the starbits millionaire mission (you need 1 million starbits in your account to complete it). This mission will give you 10000 starbits daily which is 2,5 USD dollars for clicking one button and you still can do various other paying missions per day!

But before reaching endgame or getting better cards to rise your fan amount we will use our first payments on another game.

Alien World

This is a space mining game where you earn Trillium (the game coin) on Wax Blockchain, one positive aspect of this Blockchain is that while most will force you to pay gas fees to do in game actions, here you just need to stake wax on your account CPU. And if you don't want to play this or any other game on Wax you can just unstack without losing any money.

To start playing Alien Worlds, first you will create your account and receive a shovel so you can mine. Next you need to choose a planet and land to mine.

Go to an active volcano for land as it has the biggest TLM multiplier and search for one with a low % number (this % on top of the card is how much from your mining the land owner receives as payment, so less is better!).

You have some few "free" (won't need CPU) mining actions available after registering, do them all on the volcano to stack some TLM to be turned into wax.

To convert TLM to wax go to Alcor exchange. You will need some CPU to make the exchange and here is where we will use the money from starbit recently acquired.

Stack a few dollars worth of wax in CPU so you can start mining and exchanging your TLM for Wax then for CPU. You can stop when you find your ideal amount of times you can play without receiving an error message for insufficient CPU. You should also buy 2 more standard shovels (the free item you receive when registering), they are sold for a few cents in the marketplace and you can equip up to 3 items in this game. Doing that will triple your daily mining for almost no cost.

Once finished you will start making one dollar a day for clicking one button from time to time. It may not sound much, but it's 30 dollars a month for 10 minutes at max of daily interactions.

Rollercoin

Rollercoin is a mining simulator where you play minigames to build power and mine crypto currency. You also can (and must) buy miners to have even more power!

It may seem tiresome at first as the game requires some time and effort to start giving you crypto. The power you build lasts one week and you must play daily to keep it high, but after playing for some time you will be able to afford miners and that's when it starts to get good!

Miners will passively give you power and mine for you, buy enough of them and you only will need to enter once every five days to play one minigame and recharge your miners. Older players are getting over 3 dollars daily and the top players are making hundreds.

They have BTC, ETH, DOGE and BNB available for collecting. LITE will be added in the next update. All of them have a minimum amount needed to withdraw that costs just a few dollars, but most require no fees.

The game is 3 years old already and keeps getting new updates! They have seasons that award players with free miners for completing milestones and in the next season a system for item drops in minigames will be implemented so it's getting even easier to be free to play and to earn money on this one.

They also have an offer wall where you can get RLT (the game coin) and use it to pay for your initial miner to progress faster.

Crypto Faucets

Crypto Faucets give you money for doing tasks, clicking links, watching videos and playing games. The biggest danger about them is spending time only to not get paid in the end or the ones that scam you by requiring that you deposit money first before "getting paid" by them.

I have selected three that are legit and have a nice payout for your time: FireFaucet, Cointiply and Larvel Faucet.

FireFaucet

With a sleek interface and over 12 different cryptos (including USDT) you can choose from to transfer, FireFaucet is a great faucet option. Users receive bonuses for completing actions and can level up, which grant even more bonuses on coins earned.

Cointiply

It may not have so many crypto options as fire faucet but Cointiply makes up for that with a lot of content for you to earn from. It's the best one in the "watch-to-earn" category, all you need to do is linking your account with hideout.tv and let it stream cat videos in the background while you play your games. They also have a nice mobile app.

I wouldn't recommend playing the multiplier minigame as it's gambling and can drain your hard earned coins fast.

Larvel Faucet

The simplest in both presentation and options, their coin faucet has a 30 min timer which is fast compared to cointiply's 1h. It also has a way simpler but less rewarding mining simulator than Rollercoin. It's not flashy but Larvel Faucet is honest and will give you some coffee change.

This is a beginner guide only but it will help you in the first months of your free crypto journey.

After you have accumulated some extra money your path may vary, you could begin Splintelands buying the spell book and some cards or you can start going into more expensive games that can give you a better revenue like CryptoCars. Alternatively you can also start to invest in the Crypto market.

Although for the latter I would recommend you go to Leofinance for great guides and financial advice.

Be safe on your journey, good luck trying a scholarship and great earnings playing games!
