Hi Everyone

Who doesn't like airdrops. Everyone does! When Splinterlands announced they are giving out the SPS for the full year, the excitement has flowed to all players. It has also attracted many new faces to the game which is what we wanted. The old soft peg is no longer happening and that price has now exponentially moving upwards at a quicker pace than many expected. The reason being is that DEC values 1 point for the airdrop which is extremely attractive for those who didn't get to buy many cards initially, buy land or held some of the older packs from previous editions. It is a great entry point to get your hands on some SPS airdrops. Of course the other ways are great but DEC still comes out on top.

The other winner would be land holders. Land prices have grown significantly since the sale and to get some SPS on top of the growth on the land itself is really great. My purchase with Team Possible is being looked after by the trusty Dave and he is doing a great job compounding and staking the SPS for all the landowners. To add some extra to that, those SPS staked in the account will allow us to get some Chaos Legions packs which it comes out Sept/Oct. I'm intending to get some myself so hopefully the SPS staked with them is sufficient on top of what I have staked myself. We are not sure on the ratio yet but anything staked is surely the best option.

I love how the team have integrated DEC to the whole airdrop, market place and gameplay. Very clear way to make sure that every place will be exposed to both DEC and SPS ensuring it can create a healthy economy for both tokens. I have been holding my DEC after those big purchases before the rise and have finally passed the 6 figure mark again. Hopefully I can continue to accumulate more over the next few months as I am really keen to get a larger amount of SPS. I don't think we will see DEC drop back to where it used to be any time soon keeping in mind the airdrop continues on for 1 year plus the usage within the game, I can't see it happening. Being on the team and a huge supporter of the games since the early days means I still strongly believe in what has been done and what can be achieved in the coming months and years.
