For a quick recap, I am leasing 15K HP for 7 days just so I can stomp around sharing joy. I'm like Oprah giving away cars. "You get an upvote. You get an upvote. Everybody gets an upvote!"

The biggest difference after having 15K HP is that now my votes are 0.28 at 100%. Of course, the same rules apply. If I vote everything at 100% I'll run out of vote power rather quickly. By lowering the vote power, I'm able to spread the good rewards around to more people.

To help me out, I have also subscribed to a couple of curation trails. One for Leo Finance and another for travel-related posts. This way I don't have to worry about not curating while I sleep.

I think this is my first post with the full HP delegation.

All this is slightly anti-climactic. I won't see any results for 7 days. By that time, my lease will have run out. Will it be worth it? I don't know. The stunt cost me $25, which is a little bit over 100 Hive. So, I'll have to get back more than 100 Hive to see some benefit.

Well, who am I kidding? It's fun to have the ability to make somebody's day. I'll probably give out some 100% votes here and there.

Out of curiosity, I went around looking at the size of some of the larger accounts. Whoa! There are some heavy accounts here on Hive for whom 15K HP is a rounding error. That's amazing. It only emphasizes my previous post about Hive being a sleeper. Why would somebody with 1 Million HP hang around and stay vested in Hive?

If you have $200,000 or more in HP, wouldn't you put your money somewhere you could earn a good return? The fact that these guys keep their money here is testimony that we have a good thing going here. Run the numbers. At 8%, that's $16,000 per year. At 16% that's $32,000. I don't know what these guys do with their Hive Power. Unless they need it, no sense in powering down.

I did notice that some of these large account holders will do curation. They don't post too frequently. They support many projects that pay them back. One has to admire their business sense to manage their accounts.

Well, enough pondering. I have six more days to go. I'd be OK with breaking even just for this sneak preview of where my account will be soon enough. At the end, we'll know if it was worthwhile.
