Cat Ladies of the Apocalypse: The Daily 5-Minute Freewrite Prompt
Cat ladies of the apocalypse had to find a muse to keep their lips from turning blue.
They came out of hiding, into the light of day, which was fairly blinding. They wished for a cloudy day.
The men, weak and feeble, but with strong minds, told the ladies of stables held by demons of a different kind.
Together in the hills, the ladies went,
guided by the map they were given.
When the first demon asked why they were sent,
he was struck down before an answer was given.
Within the demon's borders, they found their muse. He wasn't as handsome as expected, but a vision told them that they couldn't refuse or they would forever be complicated.
They took the muse back home with them. He kept their lips from turning blue. From metals, they made an emblem, solidifying the dark history from becoming true.
