This is something a friend tipped me today. Maybe there will be a juicy airdrop like the recent one from Aptos, or maybe not. It's from a similar project called Sui that has supposedly raised over 300 $ million from crypto VCs.

So, just head over this tweet and follow the instructions, and fingers crossed maybe we will earn some free mullah:

Me personally, I installed the suiet_wallet on a separate chrome profile. I will be hitting the "airdrop" button a couple times here and there, which to my understanding gives testnet tokens.

There's also a "mint nft" option somewhere, do that. Woohooooo, worthless jpgs 🚀🚀

The same wallet has some other apps and shit, just click all the buttons and connect your wallet with the apps to increase your chances for an airdrop! Some of them give even more useless nfts 🥳🥳🥳

Finally, make sure to have a friend install a wallet and send him/receive some testnet tokens, here's my sui addy if you like to send me some crap 0xc365f8cbd2a8b7b78b822569af944e059f217ac2

What is Suinetwork?

Some new project that self describes as "A layer 1 for the next billion users". Here's some mumbo jumbo from their website:

Sui is the first permissionless Layer 1 blockchain designed from the ground up to enable creators and developers to build experiences that cater to the next billion users in web3. Sui is horizontally scalable to support a wide range of application development with unrivaled speed at low cost.

Sui is a smart contract platform maintained by a permissionless set of validators that play a role similar to validators or miners in other blockchain systems.

Sui offers scalability and unprecedented low-latency for simple use cases. Sui makes most transactions processable in parallel. This better utilizes processing resources and offers the option to increase throughput by adding more resources. Sui forgoes consensus to instead use simpler and lower-latency primitives for simple use cases, such as payment transactions and assets transfer. This is unprecedented in the blockchain world and enables a number of new latency-sensitive distributed applications ranging from gaming to retail payment at physical points of sale. source and more info

Yawn!
