I still have some Doge wallets I cannot access and some of my forks lost their Doge wallets. It is a sad thing. One of them called me weeks ago to ask if I could support him with some funds. I shook my head and remembered his wallet. The issue was they did not “really-really” believed what I was preaching to them. They thought it was another Ponzi scheme that will take away people’s money. Now, some of them are poor while they are supposed to be worth better.

6 years ago, I was using a bank account. This is among the banks that do not support zero balance. Customers must have a minimum of #2,000 in the bank. As of 2016, it was around $10, but now it is just $4. I used the bank for a while but because of the banking system; I switched to a bank that allows zero balance and a swift online payment system.

I started using the new bank, but I did not close the previous bank. I had around #2,000 in it. After some months, the bank merged with another bank and I still leave the money in it, but I receive alerts every month for the interest they give on my money.

In 2017, I started buying crypto. I had many doge, but it doesn’t seem like a coin that will move. The supply is too much, and we were using it for giveaway. After many months, I sold all my doge but I forget to touch some wallets with little doge inside. After many years, Elon pumped and doge is now money. I opened a wallet last year and saw doge worth $1,300. I remember what I used to buy the doge then was less than #3,000, $15 as of that year. So my forgotten cryptocurrency gave me #700,000.

I got an alert again from that bank a few days ago that my money is now #2,650. For 6 years, my money stands on a spot. We all know putting money in the bank to make money is stupidity, but this is like another reality. Since last year, my bank balance has been reading like radio frequency. $0.15 (#69.09). I do not find a reason to put money in the bank again. Even if I don’t want the crypto volatility in my money, stable coins solve the problem.
