It is so much easier to spend crypto than "real money" - MEME

I was just looking through my Twitter feed, and then I somehow wasted my time, and started clicking other topics as well. On my trending list, I found #polygon, and thus I checked out some of the posts with this tag. And that is how I discovered the following MEME which I so truly understand and agree with, just check it out yourself.

Do you know the feeling? I definitely do! I go to the grocery store to buy some cheese and some chocolate. I have a bar of favorite chocolate, but because there is another chocolate selling with a 20% discount, making it $0.2 cheaper than the other, I go for the cheaper... simply because I try to "save" money.

Then I get home and discover that I have forgotten to claim some rewards for a StrongBlock node, or that I have to do some operation with the OHM tokens I have staked... or maybe do a quick trade on Uniswap. I enter the battlefield and end up spending more than $100 on gas fees in less than a minute. And somehow, it is painful, but I am still doing it without glimpsing... not at all like in the store where I walk around for minutes just to find out how I can save $0.5 buying a cheaper cheese or some other bottle of milk.

Do you feel the same way? Of course, it is painful to pay gas fees on Ethereum, but still?

In the same way... I can easily throw $10 and even $100 after some junk project, simply hoping that it will bring me quick wealth. The money is flying so much faster in crypto, maybe it is because it is still some kind of money within a game, and that is what makes it easier...until we cash out and withdraw it to our "real" bank account?
