I join other well meaning Hivers to celebrate these two years of decentralization, true community expression, strategic development of the Hive blockchain. March 20, would remain green in my mind as it marked a turnaround for my finances starting from the Hive fork with a duplication of my Steem balances. Gathering as much as $500 then in liquid form via STEEM token sales added to my liquid Hive helped me top chart a new course for my financial freedom.

In this post, I attempt to outline the top Five (5) reasons I love Hive as I celebrate this second fork anniversary. They are:

  • Wealth Building Hub,
  • LEO & Airdrops,
  • Play2Earn Games,
  • 2nd layer Curation and
  • True Tokenized Communities

Wealth Building Hub

My crypto investment had a whole new face after the March 20 fork and I did recognized true projects that were community and future minded and invested in them. Some of those projects were @LeoFinance, @Sportstalksocial and @Clicktrackprofit. These projects became dear to my heart because they moved to Hive and that was a pointe to a greener future. I immediately re-structured my portfolio and started focusing on building my wealth at the second level of Hive.

Being a part of Hive helped me compress my 10-year financial goals to 2. Yes. My financial expectations in 10 years were achieved in 2. Everyday, wealth building alternatives emerge on the Hive blockchain. We have several options to choose from other than just HIVE and that's awesome. Earning over 12,000 HIVE worth of rewards is just an understatement.

I'm glad for the growth I've attained so far and the many projects that has been funded. Moreover, I am joyed that I've helped hundreds of young people to attain their financial dreams by enrolling them on Hive.

LEO & Airdrops

Thank you Khal and the Leofinance development team for the creativity you put into the LEO ecosystem. My special appreciation to @Taskmaster4450 and @Dtrade for being the first to top curators that made engaging he leofinance community encouraging. I built my stake to 20k LEO Power and later powered down 15k to fund three huge projects including the apartment I'm presently living. Part of the powered down LEO earnings was used to diversify in curating with pother second layer tokens and that made me begin to earn $200 decently monthly from second layer curation.

Thank you so very much for the 2021 $CUB airdrop that added over $300 to my wealth. That got me closer to DeFi and in 2022, I received some more freebies in the form of $PolyCUB still from the coffers of the LeoFinance community. It only gets bigger everyday.

Play2Earn Games

Until on Hive blockchain, I never saw the reality of earning from fun and leisure. Today, I play games on Hive to pay my bills and build my wealth. Each day new games are added to the Hive blockchain with uniqueness and that's more fun.

I usually say that the world is presently filled with so much pain that fun is just the antidote. Here, we earn from our fun. Thanks to @Rabona and @Splinterlands games that has added over $500 to my Hive earnings.

Hive-engine (2nd layer) Curation

This is just the future of the internet and socialmedia which adds value to the users as well.
