How I EARNED my First Cryptocurrency in March, 2018

Permit me to saddle back the memories of how my engagement of a blockchain and the first cryptocurrency I earned. This is a guide post for all new users who are joining us in the LeoFinance Community. This community only curates blogs related to finance and blockchain technology. It can take the form o investment detailing, advice, critique, predictions and analysis. We are no robots, as such, the humanity in you should be felt.

I first heard the Word Bitcoin in 2013 when a colleague gave me link to a mining site, I can't even remember the link. I signed up and had to go claim about 0.000000156 tokens each day after performing some tasks and this is when 1 Bitcoin was worth $800. I have learnt to be loyal since it came from a trusted friend. I engaged the site for about two weeks.

In one of the days, I resorted to making some mathematical computations of the worth of the tokens and discovered that I would be making $0.05 ion one year. That was ridiculous. I couldn't continue. My bad here was that I never cared to read about Bitcoin nor did I understand anything. If I did, perhaps, I would have known the direction Bitcoin was going.

Three years later, during the Bitcoin bull craze in 2017, another friend told me of an MLM-like business that required that I invested some amount of cash that would be traded for Bitcoin and I will get monthly returns. Just then, I remembered how I lost $1750 to an MLM as I shared in this post. I had made up my mind never to again engage in an a Lazy MLM business.

I will always be grateful to @Tomlee who told me about Steem on January 22, 2018 and how it can help me engage my writing/research skills. Having caught by the "free content access" feature, I immediately obliged and applied for a new account. Two days after, precisely January 24, 2018, my account was successfully created. I tried my best to do a few things but couldn't understand. The website looked so rowdy (then) in my eyes and soon I lost vibe.

After two months, he returned to my office on March 1, 2018 and told me how he's been able to cash out some tangible amount to pay his ills. He told me "you can write better than I do, that platform is for you". I was again encouraged to re-start and actually made my first post published on March 5, though after several comments, follows and upvotes. Seven days after, precisely on March 12, 2018, 13:01:42 (GMT+00), I cashed out my first $0.182 and then, it was worth a bottle of coke and a locally made burger.

That was when my cryptocurrency wallet held a withdraw-able token for the first time and I visible saw its value. Soon, I'll tell you how I spent that earnings.
