Man is empowered to the level of the knowledge he possesses. Being exposed to a pool of knowledge is in itself worth more than money. My drive to joining Steem first was for knowledge as I never knew that one could earn some tangible money from a social platform. In my first week on the blockchain, I was amazed at the volumes of knowledge shared out for "free" and I took some valuable time to school myself. Prior to my joining steem, I had "zero" knowledge about blockchain technology and how it works, though I heard of Bitcoin.

Much more endeared to the blockchain was when I discovered the #howto and #tutorial tags which schooled ion several areas of life's experiences, giving knowledge that were valuable for my daily living. This still remains a top winning point for the Hive blockchain. However, we had missed out from the "engagement" component that completed the social loop.

Something new is born... Just two days ago, @taskmaster4450le created the '@leomarkettalk" account to re-instate the true social life among Hivers who are interested in contents covering finance and cryptocurrencies. Here's the introduction. Pointing to the "disengagement" among community members in terms of socializing and "communication", maximizing the comments section of the @leomarkettalk's daily prompt would help to spice interactions covering cryptocurrency and finance.

In an effort to stimulate engagement while also providing education to those in need, this account will post a Daily Market Talk post. It is generic in nature yet provides a place where all can go to interact throughout the day... - source

The Daily Market Talk post would be up each morning, US Eastern time and the comments section of the post is to be used for interactions.

Eligible topics to be discussed in the comment section

  • Anything relating to the markets on stocks, bonds, crypto, metals, and real estate.
  • Discourse on financial aspects of crypto applications
  • Topics such as how to improve LEO,
  • Questions or issues with the Hive, Leofinance platform,
  • Other things of that nature reserved for the existing Discord channels of Leofinance

The benefits of this creation are:

  • Free learning, studying of crypto charts

  • Awareness of new cryto projects

  • Free investment advice

  • Earn LEO, HIVE from upvotes,

  • build relationships that could lead to business collaborations

This is a worthy initiative that other Hive communities can adopt to build their engagement which will in turn enhance leaning, collaboration and mutual supports among members. Besides, new users to a community would have a nice time interacting and getting to learn through such interactions.

I am seeing this initiative as a way to attract more new users and investors who may not be given to writing long posts but could be ready to share some short insights even in images/pictures, yet earning from the upvotes on their comments. I wish some more ideas could be drawn from this.

Can this fit into the New LeoFinance UI? I think we can create a side panel on the new LeoFinance UI to accommodate the activity that @leomarkettalk seeks to create. It's time we bring all the booming community presence we've taken to Discord and Telegram down here to the Hive blockchain for more community particularization. @khaleelkazi please look at this!
