LEOPEDIA: A Learn to Earn Platform in Waiting

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is redefining work with the emergence of several activities that users can earn from - write-to-earn, play-to-earn, move-to-earn, learn-to-earn and more. Amazingly, the Hive blockchain has all of these earning options in one spot.

Hive built for communities and social networks of users with related interest has seen a robust growth in the last two years with new communities, new dapp development and amazing opportunities created for several investors.

Learn-to-Earn is a Thing

I read @Finguru's post yesterday on Top 5 Learn To Earn Platforms 2022 and it was surprising not to see @LeoFinance in the list of top learning platforms where one can learn on 2022. Just then I remembered about Project LEOPEDIA.

LeoPedia as the name implies is a merger of LeoFinance and Enclopedia where one can learn about cryptocurrency in general, Hive blockchain and the LeoFinance that is metamorphosing into the LeoVerse. I know there is a lot of work on the desk of the LEO Developers, yet, I see this as a project that should be revisited in the short term.

With the recent launch of LeoMobile and soon to be launched LeoDesktop, we are anticipating a lot of new users to flood in here however, their retention would depend on their knowledge level since web3 is a bit more complex than web2. A very simple scenario is the originality that is required in Hive contents that is not checked in web2 socialmedia. The mention of Hivewatchers can be a nightmare for many and scare them away but with a proper integration through learning, Hive is sweet! But who wants to learn today for free? Crypto has made learning a work and so should the integration process into Hive and web3 be.

LEOPEDIA - Your Guide to Crypto

LeoPedia has as it motto, a place to Explore, learn and educate yourself about one of the most revolutionary movements in our lifetime. That is very epic when coupled with the mission of LeoFinance. This is why this project should be revamped to be a learn-to-earn platform.

I decided to look-up other learn to earn platforms, and Coingecko Learn came to mind first. I made a screenshot of three tiers of page views in the Lean-to-Earn part of Coingecko and I know that LEOPEDIA can be better.

Learning with Coingecko earns users with CANDY tokens. @Taskmaster4450le had introduces us to the daily candy claim. Presently, the candies are not fully recognized as cryptocurrency though it has some internal use case within the Coingecko ecosystem. The fact is if CANDIES (with no external usecase) can be claimed to learn about crypto, then, many would love to earn LEO to learn about web3 and everything crypto.

Going through the above lesson attracts 60 Candies. There is nothing tangible that 60 Candies can buy but 60 LEO but 60 LEO can buy a meal in Nigeria even at the low price.

LEOPEDIA is a Learn to Earn Platform in waiting but we need it fast. I'm sure all the hands at the @Leogrowth would love this.
