LPUDing 601 LEO for my Financial Future

With a few hours left, I joined other great users of the LeoFinance community and Hive at large to participate in the first LEO Power Up Day (LPUD) with 601 LEO tokens. June 15 of every month has come to stay as a global day for LEO token holders to power up their LEO tokens which come with numerous benefits.

Asides the fact that @Leogrowth made it a challenge with a 20k LEO delegation prize to motivate users to participate, staking LEO is primarily for the good of the staker as well as the community at large. I had enumerated a few benefits for staking the LEO token a few days ago.

Powering up your LEO token gives you more power to reward content creators, more influence in the governance of the LeoFinance community as well as helps you accrue more profits on the long run.

The beautiful journey for LPUD just starts in the month of June, and by the end of 2022, we'll all be amazed at how much our power and influence in the LeoFinance community would have been.

My plans was to power up at least 1,000 LEO each month but die to the unexpected crypto dip, which altered my budget, I had to commit just 601 LEO. This brings my LEO Power to 6,200 from 5,699 I am happy for doing that much and I hope to cover that up in the next months. Hopefully, by year, I would have hit 12k LEO Power or even more.

A leap into the far future, I hope to have 100k LEO in my stake and that should be able to fund my retirement. Every little efforts such as this counts so greatly.

Powering up LEO is as simple as a, b, c. In just less than Five clicks, everything gets done on your leofinance wallet.

  • Simply open your wallet

  • Type in the amount of tokens you want to. Use 200 multiples of 200 to qualify for raffle tickets for this challenge.

  • Click "continue" and authenticate with Hivesigner or Hive keychain

  • It's done!
