Stacking more DEC with Card Rentals - Sweet passive Earning Opportunities on Splinterlands

Splinterlands game presents with you a plethora of earning opportunities spanning active and passive options. Both are great in their uniqueness, but if you ask me, passive earnings are sweet. On daily basis, I get on deeper to weigh the investment options we have - playing games to earn DEC, SPS, buying and opening card packs, buying and hodling/staking assets, and renting of cards to active players.

After several failed rounds of game play with a super Life card I unlocked a few days ago when opening my Chaos legion pack, it dawned on me that renting out the card would have been a better option. Rental earning was 5.5 DEC daily as at 48 hours ago but checking that few minutes ago showed a disgusting 0.5 DEC daily payments.

It is likely that the card features is not commensurate with its performances in battles hence, many players may not be very interested at using it for battles. There could be other reasons for a card to lose rental value. I'll sure research that soon.

Going deeper, renting the card would fetch at lest 5.5 DEC daily for as long as a player is there to rent the card. That would amount to 165 DEC monthly. I am yet to decide what to do with the card, but...

The very hot Chaos legion card on my deck presently is Wave Brood, an epic Water Unit with 100 Power and the ability for ranged attack at the first position. That's really a game winning feature that probably boosts the rental value of the card.

With a promise of 1.32 DEC daily, I think it's a good deal and that's an invitation to buy and open more CL packs for rentals. The target is to earn at least 100 DEC daily from rental of cards. It'll be a big hunt but the value locked therein is huge and inviting.

Stacking DEC with Card rentals is that sweet passive earning opportunity on Splinterlands game I want to dig deeper. I've read a lot of pro SPL players talk about rentals, but I didn't really understand.

That awareness that $DEC is treated as a stablecoin in-game would make earning it a priority. it doesn't lose value or in the future. To me, earning DEC is like earning HBD on Hive's main layer as a content creator.

The hunt for good cards for rentals just begun and I'll tell you how profitable it is in a short while.
