Deepluker: The Poisonous Lurking Monster
Yippe it is another splinterland weekly challenge day and currently am in the mood to post about this awesome cards which was picked for this week and which is also from the water element and to top it all, it is a melee attacker which have the right ability to back up the name giving to it Deepluker. remaining hidden so as to wait in ambush.
having a maxed card with the 3 ability opportunity which allow it to attack monster card with the lowest health and can also attack from any position, Poison which add extra damage to target at the beginning of each round and also demoralize which reduce melee attack of enemy monster cards. This means any position you put this cards, it can always attack from there. That is one reason why it is my favourite even thou am yet to max it yet but currently in level 6
The battle happened to be between me and @kesryn in a 32 mana cap battle with the equalizer(health is equal with the highest monster card health) and taking sides (no neutral cards) rule and we were allow to use all element except life. Checking out the rules and the mana cap, I decided to pick water element instead of dragon and i had to arrange my formation well in case of the challenge.
My Formation
Based on the mana cap, I had to think of what to use so as to win without suffering much defeat and first of all, A monster card with the Taunt ability came up and since i have Kraken and with the 3 abilities at level 3, i know it will be a good frontline and it will reduce opponent melee attacks incase there is any, to back it up, i picked electric eels which have the reach ability and also can cause extra damage with the blast ability. Had to position the main card Deeplukers in the middle and even if incase the opponent will be using a snipe ability, it still wont touch it. It will be bad battling without using a magic attack since am using a summoner which can add extra magic power so i picked Ruler of the seas with the 3 amazing abilities blast, swiftness and silence and they work really well. I had one mana left and since i cant use neutral cards, I decided to use albatross as the backline to just receive attacks for the main time.
The battle went really well and i won without much damage to the deeplukers which is the main card and even though i was one card short at the beginning, I still have 3 cards left after all the attacks, Will you love to check out how the battle went, click the video above or the link under it.
