For me crypto is supposed to be my second source of income but combining my 9-5 job with crypto has been overwhelming. I am not exactly a crypto expert, but I do have the knowledge and experience and so, I use my 9-5 job to fund my crypto investments. These days, I get home so tired all I want to do is lie in my bed for hours doing nothing, but the thought of losses I could be making or money I could be making gets me thinking a lot. I also write articles on the side and before I got this job, I used to write 3 articles in a space of 3 days, but these days I can barely get anything down. All this has been going on for weeks until last week when I decided to weigh my options because the stress was killing, and I wasn't able to put enough time into crypto either. So, I decided it's either I enjoy the stress with less pay or focus on other things that pay better with less stress, and of course, I chose the latter. So, here are ways to manage stress as a part-time crypto investor!

First, you need a plan. Go through your daily schedule and figure out when you can rest or focus on crypto. For me, Thursdays are usually a bit free in the morning since I don't go to work but to the local government office. Saturdays and Sundays are also free days, which I intend to use in churning as many articles I can also while studying the market for possible investments. I'm aware that trying to work in anything after getting home from a 9-5 job is impossible, so I use that period to relax as much as I can while going through my investments or crypto games. Study your activities and map out what time is best for what, and don't attempt to overstretch either. Overstretching makes it all seem impossible and off course when your mind tells you it's impossible then it would be difficult to follow these plans. But for your plans to truly work, you have to stick to it, that way you'll find it easier to go through your daily activities without having a mental breakdown about what you could be missing.

Secondly, cut down on unnecessary unproductive activities. I am sure you know those activities that seem like you are making money but is actually just a stress trap. When weighed in all sense, you discover that you are just churning for peanuts. If that time is used for profitable and more productive activities, you would do better as a crypto investor while cutting down on stress's entirely. So look into your schedule, what's that activity that eats into your time and is totally unproductive. What other activity can you use this period for that would make absolute sense?

Thirdly, stop sacrificing your health or peace of mind for money. Mind you, I didn't say stop working or investing, but learn to balance things up or your health would be forced to take law into its hands. In your plan, create time for rest, exercise, meditation, friends, and family. These activities and people will help you recharge daily, and with time you'll notice the difference. Make out time to hang out with your fellow crypto buddies, they are going through the same stuffs as you and so can relate. These hangouts could even be an opportunity to exchange ideas on investment and other things. Resting doesn't just mean staying indoors every time, you could go to that themed park, a picnic, or family get together to laugh and bond.

And lastly, you can't do everything. Learn to draw the line sometimes, or you would be going in circles while stressing yourself. It is not a must you jump on every trend or bearish market because sometimes FOMO can do you dirty. Sometimes you have to learn to stick to certain sides, so you don't waste time and energy on a goose chase.
