Greetings Hello all, I am back again and would like to share with you guys on another photo which I took when I was in Tokyo a few years back when given an opportunity to attend overseas equipment training at vendor facility.

Shooting the Photo It was a cooling night and after catching a meal nearby, I took a stroll towards Tokyo Tower and setup my camera and tripod to attempt to capture a picture of it.

Tokyo Tower, an icon of Tokyo was build in 1952 as an observatory tower. In the day time, it is Tower in white and orange. But it the night when colours take over, it is as per what the photo is showing

Should anyone, want to visit Tokyo Tower, the address is as below: 4 Chome-2-8 Shibakoen, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0011, Japan

Camera Settings Camera Make: Nikon D700 Lens: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Aperture: F22 Shutter speed: 20s Accessories: LEE 0.3 Standard ND Filter Tripod: Yes

Challenges and Thoughts Challenge encountered during this photo is to balance the flares from street light and most importantly, to find a good spot to capture the full view of the tower. Thankfully one of the biggest headache for landscape photography "crowd" is at its minimal for this photo.

This beacon of light brings colours to the night skies of Tokyo and will always be a beacon of hope to those whom look to it.

Thankful to have found a place to share photos and be part of a community to learn and improve my photography.

Thank you for reading my post, do let me know your thoughts and I welcome comments and critics. Till the next post, take care and stay safe.
