Share Your Battle: Silvershield Knight
Prelude Hello everybody, how is everyone doing? I have been nursing a sore throat for a good half of this week and effectively couldn't speak. But that doesn't stop me from have a Share Your Battle post today. The recommended sharing is on Dragons but unfortunately I did not really had a battle on Dragons to share. But I do find one interesting match which I would like to share with you guys. So here it goes on my sharing on Silvershield Knight.
Thoughts on Silvershield Knight
Leading his allies and charging forth is how the art shows. This is totally agreed as what he does! Always instrumental in my matches and leading the charge.
Without further a do, let's get started with this week's sharing.
Let's look at the Level 1 base stats for Silvershield Knight:

Bronze League - Health + 1
Silver League - Attack +1, Piercing
Gold League - Speed + 1
Beyond Gold - Attack + 2, Health + 1, Trample
What does Silvershield Knight looking on growth? At level 1, with inspire, by itself Knight becomes a 2 attack already. With it's speed and high health, it can last sufficiently long to keep its allies buffed with inspire.
Silvershield Knight really makes a melee lineup very viable. I love using him in a sneak squad.
As he grows, he gains piercing and subsequently gain trample. This two are good abilities to gain and will be hard to handle if we are to hide Silvershield Knight in the middle of the lineup on Sneak/Opportunity match up, especially at higher levels, the stats of Silvershield Knight becomes much better.

Prediction before pressing rumble Yodin Zaku, another summoner that I don't like to face. Also Cerberus has healing. I have no idea how this will turn out.
Let's get ready to rumble Round 1, Gosh, all my attacks went towards the chicken, and yes we took a chicken down. The divine shield from Lorna helps take care of the blast buff given by Yodin.
Round 2, This round, we become fully focused on Cerberus and successfully taken it down. One less worry for me.
Round 3, Opportunity strikes on beetle and it gets smashed. Last 2 to go.
Round 4 onwards, Fiend down and subsequently Miner down as well. Victory secured!
After Thoughts I am so happy to be winning a shiny gold Yodin lineup. The key to this is really Silvershield Knight. Without the buff in melee attack, it will be difficult to bring down my opponent lineup and my lineup probably will just suffer all the blast.
A few other supporting elements, Lorna's divine shield and Creeping Ooze's slow. Lorna's shield give my monsters a "get blast for 1 time unhurt" pass which I think is very critical. Ooze's slow allows my lineup to strike first, taking out monsters before the start blasting us.
The 3 elements work together to ensure we get the victory closed to almost unscathed.
Did my strategy work in this game? I am glad my selection allowed me sufficient advantage to strike hard and fast while keeping my side protected from blast. A good mix of offence and defence.
Will I be using Silvershield Knight in the future? For sure I will. This is such a good card whenever Life Splinter plays on Melee instead of General Sloan's range lineup. Such an all rounder and many times, I find it able to dodge sufficiently with its high speed.
Silvershield Knight is an alpha/beta card, so it can only be played in wild. Definitely a card to buy/rent to climb your rankings. Remember to rent his partners in crime, Lorna Shine, Feral Spirit and Silvershield Assassin.
