Punks on Hive vs. Ethereum CryptoPunks: Daily Volume comparison 🤩 Interesting insight 💡 (December 3rd 2021)
CryptoPunks auf Ethereum sind zu einer Art Status-Symbol geworden und werden mittlerweile zu Unsummen verkauft.
Die günstigsten CryptoPunks auf Ethereum wurden in den letzten Wochen so um die 70-100 ETH getradet, was je nach ETH-Kurs fast eine halbe Million Dollar pro CryptoPunk entspricht. Das ist einfach unglaublich und auch irgendwie total verrückt.
Ich habe jetzt die Statistik der letzten 24 Stunden ausgewertet und bin auf eine interessante Erkenntnis gestoßen.
Wie immer muss man die Verkaufszahlen mit Vorsicht genießen, da man mit anonymen Adressen das Volumen auch einfach manipulieren und schönen kann.
In den letztem 24 Stunden wurden auf Ethereum "nur" 13 CryptoPunks und 7 Hive Punks verkauft. Insgesamt gesehen sind auch CryptoPunks nicht so liquide, wie ich gedacht habe. Ein Schicksal, das die Punks auch mit anderen NFTs und vor allem Krypto-Kunst teilen.
Trotzdem ist es ein cooles Projekt und ich kann den Hype der Punks jetzt einigermaßen nachvollziehen.
Was sagt ihr zu den Verkaufszahlen? Denkt ihr, dass die Hive Punks ähnlich wie die Ethereum Punks noch durch die Decke gehen werden?

CryptoPunks on Ethereum have become a kind of status symbol and are now sold for vast sums.
The cheapest CryptoPunks on Ethereum have been traded for something like 70-100 ETH in the last few weeks, which is almost half a million dollars per CryptoPunk, depending on the ETH exchange rate. That's just incredible and also somehow insane.
I have now analyzed the statistics of the last 24 hours and came across an interesting insight.
As always, you have to take the sales figures with a grain of salt, as anonymous addresses can also be used to easily manipulate and beautify the volume.
In the last 24 hours, "only" 13 CryptoPunks on Ethereum and 7 Punks on Hive were sold. Overall, even CryptoPunks are not as liquid as I thought they would be. A fate the Punks also share with other NFTs and especially crypto art.
Still, it's a cool project and I can somewhat understand the hype of Punks now.
