The quality of nodes have a tremendous effect on the user experience on HIVE blockchain. All the work with onboarding users is going to be useless if they are going to have a bad time here. It has become almost a tradition to have issues after every hard fork. Running a blockchain that aims to dethrone multiple multi-billion dollar corporations is not an easy task. As someone who isn't a coder, I can't help with making the blockchain better expect through promotion, engagement and content creation. Another thing I can do is educate people on how to have a better experience on HIVE.

Benchmark Results

At first I switch to the @threespeak node. There were some errors with notifications. I assume @threespeak node is not meant to be used by all front ends. @roelandp gets the medal for the best HIVE Node operator. If don'know, he is a witness and you can show him some appreciation.

How To Do It Yourself

The benchmarks are a feature provided by @peakd (which is the best general purpose HIVE front end for web I have used) Go to this link and you can do a benchmark for yourself. It barely takes any time.

How To Change Your Node

Changing your node should be one of the first things you should try out if you are having trouble with using HIVE. It has saved me from many UX troubles and inconveniences in the past.
