I learned about Maya Protocol from the THORChain community. I thought it was a good idea. Then recently I learned that Dash is partnering with the launch of Maya Protocol. I have been a big believer in both Dash and THORChain and there is no way I can ignore Maya Protocol.

MAYA is built using Cosmos SDK infrastructure (similar to THORChain) and its launch is not meant to be a vampire attack such as SushiSwap’s fork of Uniswap. Both projects will be stronger because of each other.

DeFi is The Only Sensible Way Forward

Governments are getting tougher on cryptocurrency and various institutions are uniting their oppressive power to suppress privacy and freedom of individuals. We must realize that the normies are going to need crypto one way or other. We must also realize that cryptocurrency is capable of functioning without the banking carterls. We must not be afraid to move forward in our own ways. DeFi is a better replacement for the traditional finance system.

The elements that lack decentralization will be taken down by USSA, CCP etc. That is perfectly fine. If governments could not put and end to Torrents that merely shared static files P2P, they are not going to be capable of bringing down a P2P financial sector with DAPPs.
