I arrived in The Netherlands, three nights ago. This morning, for the third day in a row, I cycled from my sister's house to my parents' house. When I was about to leave the village where my sister lives, I had to wait for an open bridge, while a boat passed underneath it.

I decided to share the picture in my family app, joking that I would be somewhat later.

I probably had to wait about a minute but my sister actually replied, asking me if I was aware that there was another route too?

Meanwhile, I was grinning, as my joke was making fun of Dutchies and especially people from Northern European countries who always want to be on time. At the same time, we would literally use an open bridge as an excuse for being late haha!

As I have lived in Portugal for over 4 years now, I am very much used to waiting. If you aren't patient, you will probably feel very frustrated out there quite often. I still am, at times but then I remind myself how important it is to practice patience and I try to work on it

I also realized that having been in crypto ( investing ) for over 5 years now, I sure have increased my patience, as - eventhough crypto markets can be extremely volatile - there are also prolonged times with hardly any change in price.

What about you? Are you the patient type? and has crypto changed this for the better or.made you more impatient?

Here's some calming green ( we all like 'green' ) and some cute cow-colored sheep, that I pass on my bicycle trip these days.

P.S. 'The Waiting Game' is also a song on an album by Van Morrisson, called The Healing Game, that I played for my sick father ( and my mother ) today. It is beautiful music and pretty healing in its overall energy.
