What's Coming to Soulofox in 2023? January 21, 2023

Here's a quick summary of what the Soulofox team has been working on for the past few months and what you can expect to see in 2023.

Since the release of Gen 1 back in October, the Soulofox team has been focused on building infrastructure that can shift the project into a play, collect, and earn direction. The SouloPet system will be a major releases that will allow us to do that through pet growing, farming, adventure quests and more!

Below is a quick summary of the features that will be released throughout Q1-Q2 2023

😎 New UI - In the game, you can now select your community NFT profile pictures! And one-click login without the need for an email address or password. All equipped items from your previous session will be saved, and the last login character will be loaded automatically. Players who do not own a fox can easily login and walk around to test play!

🛒 In-Game Shop - Buy all basic in-game items here with SOULO! It is extremely fun and simple to use!

💰 In-Game Marketplace - A one-stop shop where you can easily list your in-game items for sale to other players. We will also connect the in-game marketplace to our https://app.soulofox.com/ marketplace!

🎒 Backpack system - Enables you to easily transfer your on chain item into the game and receive in-game rewards. Super simple to use and allows us to easily connect on-chain items to the game.

🥚 Egg - Get ready for an impending airdrop! All Gen0 and Gen1 holders will receive an egg for every staked NFT! Holders of Generation 0 will have a better chance of finding rare eggs!

🧑‍🌾 Farm - You will be able to obtain various food supplies for your pet and craft them to higher level food supplies in order to help your pet grow! Manage your own farm and choose what to grow. Fish in the pond! Upgrade your land to unlock more exciting possibilities!

🐱 SouloPet - You will be the proud owner of your very own SouloPet once the egg hatches! Feed them, play with them, and send them on quests to level them up! You can even evolve them into different element pets for different quest advantages! Imagine Pokemon meets Neopets in Tales of Soulofox, and it's all done with NFTs. Level Up, Evolve, and Earn SOULO along the way!

✅ Daily Login Reward - Holders will receive different ranks in the game based on the quantity and rarity of the NFTs. You will receive rewards for logging in on a daily basis, and higher rank players will receive better rewards!

⚔️ Adventure Quest - Send your Soulopets and Gen 0 & 1 NFTs on various adventure quests to conquer the unknowns in Tales of Soulofox! Level up your pet to gain access to higher level quests and valuable rewards! Different attributes on the Gen 0 will have different advantages, and if the Gen 0 has a pet attribute, it will increase the rate of getting a rare reward as well! Rewards Include SOULO, In Game Items, Wearables, Eggs, and even Gen 0 or Gen 1 Soulofox NFTs!

🤑 Staking system - As we transition to a play, collect, and earn model, we will revise the staking system, and staking rewards will be shifted to in-game rewards (adventure quests, daily login system...etc). This model, as a gaming project, will be much more sustainable for SOULO and will provide much more value to holders. At the same time, we will be able to onboard more players and participate in the SOULO ecosystem!
