Hello everyone and welcome again!

Unlike last time, this Battle Challenge came as a surprise to me because I'm not used to play with Dragons in Bronze, and that's because in Bronze it's very common that battles with little mana appear, and as we know dragons cost a lot of mana to summon them, however Dragon summoners are the most used in Bronze and I started to wonder why, and that's where this post came from, so welcome!

Drake of Arnak

  • Untamed Edition.

  • Mana cost: 4 points.

  • Buff: +1 Armor.

Brighton Bloom

  • Dice Edition.

  • Mana cost: 4 points.

  • Buff: Fly to friendly monsters.

How to use these summoners?

Each has its own way of contributing to the success of a battle, one of the most common ways to see Drake of Arnak in battle is combined with death, specifically with Cursed Windeku and the reason is quite obvious, you can also see combined with Djinn Chwala that serves the same purpose as the Windeku, the idea is to enhance your cards using that extra bonus of armor in each of your cards.

Brighton Bloom is a little different because it is not as defensive as Drake of Arnak, although I do not consider it as a summoner thought in the offensive but rather something in between these two points, the good thing is that the Fly skill is always good, all it has are advantages and disadvantages do not exist.

As a curious fact, both summoners by themselves are quite weak against magic.

Why are they so good in Bronze?

It is clear that they are not the best Dragon summoners in the game, but they shine much more than the rest in bronze because of the mana cost, there are others that can also work very well like Camila Sungazer and Daria Dragonscale and of course, Quix the Devious, but I think all 3 are more focused on a specific situation, like using Camila as a counter to Tarsa, or Devious as a counter to Sloan, instead these two summoners will give bonus to all your cards no matter what, and that allows you to cover more chances in your games.

Of course, for me the best summoner in the whole game is Archmage Arius, who with 5 mana points is not so crazy to use at Bronze rank and will win you games like no other.

And for last, My Battles!

Using Drake of Arnak:

As you can see, my opponent (a bot, of course) came out with the same strategy, the idea is to do a lot of damage both by the base attack of his card, and by the Thorns, and keep him alive with Meerdali Guardian, a disadvantage that these bots have is that it is difficult to use cards like Djinn Chwala or in my case, Theorosa Nightshade, which in these low rank battles can make the difference, and of course with how bestial is Dhampir Infiltrator.

When Merdaali fell, there was nothing left to keep my opponent in battle even though he had more health than my tank, but Theorosa would have 2 points of damage thanks to the armor bonus of my Drake of Arnak so even if my Infiltrator was gone, this battle was still mine.

Using Brighton Bloom:

Here I repeat the tank, I think Windeku is one of the best tanks in Chaos Legion, and Soul Strangler for that incredible damage he has, a mistake my opponent made was not sending cards with good life points, so basically he had no tank.

As I said before, magic is a weakness for these summoners because they ignore the Armor and always hit their attacks, nullifying the Fly of my summoner, but only one card of my opponent was magic, and his archers missed several attacks towards my Windeku, which caused my cards to take the advantage, largely because of the strong attack that Soul Strangler has and the huge amount of life that my Windeku has.

What was my experience with this cards?

Both are summoners that allow combinations of great potential in bronze rank and help you win many battles, as now every game you win gives you points it is best to have at your disposal as many options and what better options than the Dragons, you can combine them with all kinds of cards and that's the great thing about this Splinter, no doubt they are two cards that I would highly recommend and have a lot of potential.

As I always say in these posts, all cards, no matter how good or bad they may seem, have their moments of glory and also their bad side, it's up to you as a player to use them as they should be and take advantage of them in your victories, play many battles, practice and you will become a better player little by little.

Thank you very much for reading my post, I hope to see you in the next one, see you soon!
