A coin for the Commonwealth.

With a storied history that dates back to 1930, the Commonwealth Games is one of the biggest sporting events in the world. In celebration of the Commonwealth Games and its incredible 92-year legacy, this UK 50p coin features a bespoke reverse design by The Royal Mint’s own Natasha Preece, capturing the essence of the Commonwealth Games through the striking geometric patterns associated with Birmingham 2022.
