NFT Artwork FTW: The Daily Contest

Well the world of digital art has gotten pretty crazy over the last couple of weeks with numbers of sales getting ridiculously high. Over the weekend there was an art sale of masks on the Ethereum network called Hash Masks that made almost $10 million dollars for the artists. It is great to see creatives paid for their work and their is no better time to be a digital artist than right now. Look at the cryptopunks where one sold for around 762k USD.

There are lots of projects popping up. Right now they are on the ethereum network mostly but the gas fees make it hard to buy cheaper items and it is a rich person's game at the moment. I wonder if the high fees are contributing to the value of these items as people are not willing to sell them at prices lower than the gas fees. It has to be worth it when the buy and sell fees are taken into consideration and that can be $50 right now.

Today's contest is all about NFT art. I want you to share a piece that you bought or talk about a piece you are interested in. It can be a specific piece or just a project that you are following. It can also be one that you made yourself. You can even talk about a project you want to start or a brand you would like to see make digital art.

Just like art in the real world I don't have the money for these crazy purchases. But they are fun to look at and see if this world of NFT art is a fad or the start of a trend for things to come. Either way it is HIGHLY speculative so please only use money you can afford to lose.
