It’s not easy to accept that some humans are damaged to an extent that repair is nearly impossible to imagine. I don’t like to use religious talk but I just “leave them in the hands of god”. Hopefully they’ll be the ones needing a $2000 loan one day and maybe that will help them see what they’ve done
