Funny thing about Hive is it seems someone decided "content doesn't work" and since then the focus is on policing our 9000 daily posts and fiddling with math, no one has noticed the market is still begging for decentralized news that can be rated by the readers, discussed in communities (tribes) and Authors can receive a reputation.
Somewhere along the line the focus became over policing the current community and fiddling with our own chain.
Someone will say the applications should be doing the promotion. Okay, that's fair, where is the brain storming the reputation system, improving the UI? Getting a great search engine?
Hive has the ability to disrupt Publishing, Media, News and Information.
If Bitcoin is money with out 3rd party intervention then Hive is Information, Data, News, without 3rd party intervention.
A company I worked for once hired a consultant to come in and one of the best pieces of advice we received was we were spending too much time as an organization focused on and controlling our internal affairs.
I see so many people enjoying the process of determining what others are allowed to do, and so little time improving the tools for a more attractive and fun user experience. (which leads to investment and adoption)
