A Million Hive - How Would I Use It? (My Contest Entry)

Please note that the following story is fiction, though I sincerely wish it was real!

I log into Hive, and to my great pleasure and delight my account has one million Hive in it. This is thanks to many of our wonderful whales and orcas who have pooled their resources for the biggest contest in the history of the platform.

This is truly life changing for me! I don't plan on doing a lot of spending, but it will allow me to be financially independent. Most of the funds will be invested, which will produce a nice living while it still grows in value.

First, I will dedicate 50% of it for powering up. This will be to save for the future, as well as earn curation rewards.

I will probably power up from multiple accounts and delegate it to my main account. I have no interest in losing so much money, so I will want it spread out.

25% of it would go to diversification of my portfolio, but I will only sell high, and not all at once. I will obviously want to protect the Hive token. My purchases would include property, and other crypto.

What crypto do I like other than Hive?

My first stop will be to get the ColossusXT grid live, which will allow anyone and everyone to have all of the computing power that they need, regardless of location and hardware.

This will change everything, both for scientists and the average person who can only afford a budget computer. Imagine being able to play the latest game on your ancient computer? Or run that simulation for work smoothly on it, whenever the inspiration hits you!

With the dedicated team, I have complete faith that my investment will pay huge dividends. They already have everything in place paperwork wise for bidding for United States government grants. How awesome would it be to see Colx and NASA make history together!

I will try to buy up a ton of Dreem tokens. However they are almost as rare as hen's teeth! @dreemport focuses on quality over quantity in everything. While I love this, it certainly makes it difficult to get hold of the tokens!

I will also buy more of my other favorites, such as POB, Xavander, Alive, Pizza, and Luv. I will purchase zenzo and monk nodes.

Leo and Cub will be on my list to research, along with a few other coins and tokens. I won't consider heavily investing in projects unless I truly believe in the team.

25% of my Hive will go for tithing and blessing others, spending, etc. In short this will be for the immediate future.

Of this, 10% is immediately set aside for the tithe.

To celebrate my good fortune, a minimum of twenty five thousand of the powered up Hive will be dedicated to contests to be run daily. The delegations will last for four weeks, so it can benefit the maximum number of people.

New Bees will have their own contest. The delegation will only be part of the prize. Each winner will also be assigned a "buddy". This will be an experienced Hiver who can give them suggestions and introduce them to new communities and friends. Each buddy will only have one new Bee at any one time. This person will also agree to chat with them on Discord or some other means should they wish.

This will guarantee that a generous amount of the prizes will go to those who need it the most. And that they can make the most of it. Where would you be now if you had four weeks of one on one help, and a one thousand hp delegation to get you started?

The general contests for both Hive and HP will be more flexible. I will probably change them up often to keep it fun and interesting.

My first one would be pretty much exactly the one I'm running now, but on a larger scale. I really do believe each participant wins by checking out new areas which they might otherwise skip.

Thank you for reading about my dream :) I hope one day it comes true, but until then I will keep on building towards it. Not by wishing it will magically appear one day, but by getting to know all of you amazing Bees :) ! Which is something that I will do even if I do get a million Hive, by the way.
