Optimism Integrates Etherscan; Optimistic Etherscan

         As the Ethereum network continues to suffer congestion and high transaction cost, a number of 2nd layer scaling solutions are being developed to scale up the network offering higher transaction speed and cost effective operations.

Yesterday, one of the leading 2nd layer solution provider Optimism announced integration of its Optimistic rollups with Etherscan. The integration will allow Optimistic Ethereum users easy access to Ethereum network information. The users will be able monitor deposits and withdraws on Ethereum along with when the transaction was processed on layer 2 and posted in batches on main network.

What makes Ethereum work is all the incredible infrastructure surrounding it, and this design principle allows us to seamlessly integrate pillars of Ethereum, like Etherscan! This integration was made simpler through the proximity in design of Optimistic Geth and Geth and our complete support of the Ethereum JSON RPC API. This is a major milestone for usability on Optimistic Ethereum, and we can’t wait to unveil the next infrastructural integration ❤.

The much waited Optimistic Ethereum is expected to go alive on Ethereum Main Net this July. Meanwhile Ethereum network users and devs sit fingers crossed, looking for a scaling solution.
