Splinterlands: Good Luck Killing That Cube

Today, I am gonna talk about one of my favorite neutral monster, GELATINOUS CUBE. GELATINOUS CUBE is a common no attack neutral with miraculous damage soaking and healing abilities.

GELATINOUS CUBE have salvage ability right from the beginning. But the real fun begins at level-8 when it gets Heal ability, making it virtually impossible to kill. At max level, cube even get Void ability. I own level-8 GELATINOUS CUBE which works perfect for me.

Currently there are 123,698 normal foil GELATINOUS CUBE in circulation, with lowest selling price of 0.024$/BCX. There are also 4,149 Gold Foils in circulation, trading at 0.80$/BCX.

GELATINOUS CUBE like all tanks is placed upfront to face the music. It can also be used as sneak/snipe protector.

GELATINOUS CUBE is best suited for Reverse Speed due to it extremely low speed. It also works nicely as tank, in Rise of the Common and Lost Legendaries battle rules.

GELATINOUS CUBE costs 6 mana so it can easily be used in medium to high mana battles. It can even be used in certain low mana battles.

GELATINOUS CUBE can be decently complemented in variety of ways using various summoners and monsters with abilities.

Being a neutral monster, GELATINOUS CUBE can be summoned by every summoner. It is best complemented by SCARRED LLAMA MAGE, Mimosa Nighshade, THE PEAKRIDER, CHANSEUS THE GREAT, LIR DEEPSWIMMER, MYLOR CROWLING and OWSTER ROTWELL.

Giving GELATINOUS CUBE extra shield from Protect ability monsters like DEFENDER OF TRUTH, TRUTHSPEAKER, SILVERSHEILD SHERRIF, or TOWER GRIFFIN etc. can add an extra layer of defense.

Triage ability can help keep GELATINOUS CUBE alive.

Giving GELATINOUS CUBE extra healing by Heal or Triage ability monsters, can make it literally impossible to kill.

Cleanse can help GELATINOUS CUBE a lot, making sure it doesn't gets afflicted.

The best way to take out GELATINOUS CUBE is by afflicting it either by using Mimosa or affliction ability monsters.

In this battle, I used GELATINOUS CUBE as sneak protection. In the end GELATINOUS CUBE survived and enemy couldn't manage to kill it. The enemy monsters died by fatigue and my GELATINOUS CUBE kept standing.
