Did You Receive Your CIVIC Wallet Airdrop?

It was as long back as July last year when CIVIC announced a huge airdrop 92.5M CVC tokens. I had also posted this airdrop details with my invite link here. I was among the top 2000 referrers at that time and top 100000 referrers were eligible for the airdrop.

Well, some days back I received my early access code for the newly launched Civic wallet. I excitedly downloaded it to see how much reward I received.

But no, there was nothing of the sorts there.

Seems there are far too many conditions attached to this airdrop. We already knew that we would need to do our KYC when this wallet is launched to access our airdropped rewards. But that was not all.

Now I came across another condition that I'd need to make at least 12 transactions within one year (up to 31st March, 2021) to avail the reward. Further the reward will remain locked up for a period of one year.

Check the detailed Terms & Conditions as updated on 10th April, 2020 here. It states:

The CVC Prize will remain viewable via the Civic Wallet of a winner but may not be unlocked until the minimum 12 transactions have been made and after 12 months have passed from the date of transfer of the CVC Prize.

Are you gonna comply with all these conditions for availing your reward, when CVC prices have declined by over 50% in this period?

I don't think I'm gonna do all that to get that reward. Nevertheless, I fee it easier and secure this wallet without a need to protect any password or mnemonic seed phrases.

However, for now I'd prefer the Atomic Wallet.
