Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are gradually gaining mainstream acceptability.

Now people don't care much even if Warren Buffett label bitcoin as "rat poison squared", for truth can't hide any longer.

Now "Markets" section of CNBC.com website lists live prices for major cryptos from some crypto exchanges along with other major market indices, commodities, stocks, bonds, ETFs and forex market.

A mainstream website that last month got as many as 1 billion visits in a month is going to give credibility to cryptocurrency market among the general audience.

If other media too follow suit, this will lead to major crypto adoption and a boom in their prices.

However, CNBC only lists 9-10 cryptos on its website, it's worth to note that it has not chosen to list stable coin Tether and Exchange coin BNB among the top 10 cryptos. But Basic Attention Token BAT though at no. 33 is listed.

This gives me hope that HIVE too can get listed on CNBC soon. IMHO, social coins like HIVE would be of more interest to general audience than BCH or LTC. So HIVE can cater to CNBC audience better :)

HIVE has broke into top 30 rankings during the recent price surge but has slipped to no. 59 as of now. But a regular coverage through price ticker on websites like CNBC can make it a top 10 coin soon.

What do you guys think?
