HIVE Deposit and Withdrawal in Probit Exchange Seems to be Disabled

Anyone here who uses Probit Exchange? HIVE deposit and withdrawal on the exchange seems to be disabled and I couldn't find an announcement about this.

I tried to withdraw HIVE about seven (7) hours ago because my mother asked for some money to pay some of the bills. It's not my usual withdrawal time because I already paid my bills for this period. For those who didn't know, I live through my Hive earnings since I quit my day job last October. I don't live a luxurious life and I managed to live within the means of my earnings here. I tried to save my HP and live through the HBD earnings as much as possible.

I really didn't mind using any exchange because I don't store anything there. I just use them as a mode of transfer. As of the moment, I use Probit Exchange. So far, I didn't have any issues with the deposit, withdrawal, and even with the trade processes. Until seven (7) hours ago...

I did the usual process like I always did many times before. Knowing the transaction time of Hive, you know that by the moment you logged in to the exchange that you're depositing, your HIVE is already reflected there. But when I logged in, my HIVE was not reflected in my balance. I find it strange because it never happened before. I waited for a few minutes and then refreshed the exchange, but still, nothing happened.

I don't panic in cases like this because I've been through worse situations with deals of a much bigger amount, but all of them were sorted out. I mean I didn't lose any significant amount in the past because I always retrace my steps to confirm if the problem was really at my end. Since it was not reflected, I tried the usual and that is to confirm if the transaction has no problem at my end.

I did confirm that everything was fine as far as I'm concerned because my HIVE was reflected at the @probithive account. The problem must be rooted in the exchange itself. So, I searched for HIVE on my balances at the exchange, but the coin couldn't be found. I tried to check the trading stuff, but everything seems to be normal there. I went back to my wallet and manually scrolled down to the balances. HIVE balance was found, but the deposit, withdrawal, and transfer button were disabled. The trade button was fine which explains why the trading page appears to be normal.

The next thing I did was search for recent announcements or any issues related to HIVE, but I couldn't find any. I even went to their Twitter account to check if there's any announcement about HIVE, but there was none. I messaged them directly on Twitter about my issue, but I realized it was not a proper avenue to raise issues. It was already late, so I slept thinking it might be okay when I wake up.

And then here we are...

I woke up and immediately checked my balance because my mother needed the money, but still, my HIVE was not reflected there. This time, I decided to issue a ticket about my concern. It's still too early to probably expect feedback, but hopefully, it will be resolved soon.

I just find it a hassle that when you needed your money the most, situations like this arise. I just want my HIVE to be either reflected back to my Hive wallet or reflected in my balance at the exchange. Whichever works fine with me.

If you're using the exchange, it's best to check if everything's okay at your end before starting to deposit or withdraw.
