Another Power Up Day and 40k alt-coins in the bank
It is Power Up Day again . I did not earn much in HIVE rewards, but I did well with POB. Since I didn't make much HIVE, I pulled 5 SWAP.HIVE over HiveEngine/Hive barrier. That gave me 10 HIVE to power up.
The power up brought me to 4593 HP. I am about 700 HP from being a dolphin! When my account becomes a dolphin, everyone will respect me.
I am essentially 100% powered up. I've spent money on hive related things. This month, I spent 6.1 HIVE to create the account @irivers. @irivers is writing a series of posts in the Review the World Community which I am calling Outsider Review of HIVE. I am listing HIVE related web sites on Internet Rivers. I've found 110 so far. I will write cheesy reviews for each of the sites. My hope is that this process will bring web traffic into the HIVE community.
One the Tribes Page of Internet Rivers, I list some of the tribes along with their tags and tokens. This list might come in handy for people who want to find the right keyword to target for their posts. The link page might bring web traffic into the tribal sites which will benefit the whole community.
I've dropped 13 posts on @irivers so far. HiveBuzz says that the posts have received an average of 0.077 Hive Rewards for the posts. That is decent for a new account.
Unfortunately, the creation of a new account makes my accounting much more difficult. I decided to list all of my coins in my HIVE/STEEM empire. The table will start with my HIVE holdings drawn from HiveStats.io. The increase column shows the change from last power up day. I will also include the coins I have in Blurt and the other blockchain.

My coin total increased by about 40,000 this month. I now have 292,760 coins worth $1,637.32. Unfortunately, the value of coins seems to drop faster than my accumulation of new coins. The reported value of my account was $2,378.77 last month and $3,285.22 the month before.
At this rate I will be a HIVE dolphin with a million coins in a few months. The coins will be worth less than a grand. Such is life in the BeeHive.
The magic of inflation is that inflation makes the plebeians feel like they are getting ahead when the real value of their assets is dwindling. The value of the US dollar is dropping at a steady rate.
Of course, HIVE might jump to a $1.00 and I will be sitting easy in the money laughing at the plebes.
Ooops, I forgot, I have a small gallery of NFTs....which I assume have no value.
I've been with HIVE for 43 moons. I've been 100% powered up all that time. It looks like my account increases by about 50 HIVE a month. I might start selling half of my monthly increase to pay bills; So, this might be my last power up day.
My current thought is to keep all of the HP rewards I receive and to start sloughing off the HBD rewards into my bank account so that I can pay my web hosting bills.
