Hyperinflation is a concept that has existed for several years in Venezuela and the scenario from my perspective can be described as a competition between two major rivals. On the one hand there is the constant increase in the minimum wage and on the other the increase in the prices of the basic basket of goods, services, footwear, clothing and all "non-essential" items.
La hiperinflacion es un concepto que se maneja desde hace varios años en Venezuela y el escenario según mi perspectiva se puede describir como una competencia entre dos grandes rivales. Por un lado está el constante aumento del salario mínimo y por otro el aumento de los precios de la canasta básica, los servicios, el calzado, el vestido y todo los artículos "no-esenciales".
Neither of them will give in to their intention of always placing themselves above the other, regardless of what might happen to the public who have had to watch the spectacle from the "fence" without the right to express an opinion or suggest any amendment to end the contest.
Ninguno de los dos cederá en su intención de situarse siempre por encima del otro, sin importar lo que pueda pasarle al público que ha tenido que ver el espectáculo desde la "valla" sin derecho a opinar o sugerir alguna enmienda para terminar la contienda.
The scenario is complex and to describe it even more so, but today I seek to answer the following question:

In the city where I live, in most households, there is a noticeable degree of anxiety and the most common cause is not having enough food at home to make it to the end of the week. This translates into a collective stress that is easily felt in the city centre, where most of the shops selling basic foodstuffs are located.
En la ciudad donde vivo, en la mayoría de los hogares, hay un grado notable de ansiedad y la causa más común es no tener suficiente comida en casa para llegar al final de la semana. Esto se traduce en un estrés colectivo que se percibe fácilmente en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentran la mayoría de los comercios que venden alimentos básicos.
Every day a large number of people gather in popular shops where long "queues" are organised to enter the shops, in the first instance to compare prices and if necessary to shop in several establishments as a strategy to reduce costs.
Todos los días se concentra un gran número de personas en los comercios populares, donde se organizan largas "colas" para entrar en las tiendas, en primer lugar para comparar precios y, si es necesario, comprar en varios establecimientos como estrategia para reducir costes.

In my case, shortly after joining the platform, I realised that I had arrived at the ideal place, in line with my way of thinking and interpreting the world around us. So it didn't take me long to make an economic transition, gradually leaving behind the dependence on the salary of a teacher attached to the Venezuelan Ministry of Education.
En mi caso, poco despu és de unirme a la plataforma, me di cuenta de que había llegado al lugar ideal, acorde con mi forma de pensar e interpretar el mundo que nos rodea. Así que no tardé en hacer una transición económica dejando gradualmente la dependencia del salario de un docente adscrito al Ministerio de Educación de Venezuela.
By the mid-2020s, the rewards earned at Hive were higher than my teaching salary. This was exacerbated by the pandemic and an indefinite stoppage of educational work that has not yet ended.
A mediados de 2020, las recompensas obtenidas en Hive eran más altas que mi salario de profesor. Esto se vio agravado por la pandemia y un paro indefinido de la labor educativa que aún no ha terminado.
The thing is that I now work full time on Hive and everything related to the blockchain movement or online jobs. Therefore, my income is priced to the dollar, which prevents my earnings from being devalued. In other words, I keep my money liquid and invested in cryptos to avoid being a direct victim of the hyperinflation that is wreaking havoc on the majority of the Venezuelan population.
El caso es que ahora me dedico a tiempo completo a Hive y todo lo relacionado con el movimiento blockchain o los trabajos online. Por lo tanto, mis ingresos se cotizan al precio del dólar, lo que evita que mis ganancias se devalúen. En otras palabras, mantengo mi dinero líquido e invertido en criptos para evitar ser víctima directa de la hiperinflación que está causando estragos en la mayoría de la población venezolana.

One of the best options to deal with hyperinflation and the country's distorted financial system is to have assets invested in cryptocurrencies. The traditional savings system is already a thing of the past and has no basis to continue functioning in the midst of uncertainty, high commission rates, high interest rates, and all this added together has the irremediable result of having less every day. In cryptocurrencies and especially in Hive it is possible to strike a balance to maintain your capital in the worst case scenario and if you do things right the numbers will surely smile on you. Una de las mejores opciones para lidiar con la hiperinflación y el sistema financiero distorsionado del país es tener activos invertidos en criptomonedas. El sistema de ahorro tradicional ya es cosa del pasado y no tiene base para seguir funcionando en medio de la incertidumbre, altas tasas de comisión, altas tasas de interés, y todo esto sumado tiene el resultado irremediable de tener menos cada día. En criptomonedas y especialmente en Hive es posible lograr un equilibrio para mantener tu capital en el peor de los casos y si haces las cosas bien los números seguramente te sonreirán.
