You Are Alive
Important notice: As most of you know, next week is the set date for the Hard Fork HF26, Tuesday or Wednesday last I heard, and with it comes RC delegations.
This project needs a lot of RC to operate, currently somewhere between 3k to 4k HP worth of RC as a minimum, so we need to make some changes so that we reward people for delegating RC as well as HP.
All current delegations that are kept over the Hard Fork also have the same amount of RC delegated as before, so we will start directly after this payout to track RC delegations for the whole next week until our next payout, in addition to tracking HP which we already take a snapshot of each day.
Setting the correct level of rewards for RC delegations can be a bit tricky as we don't know what it is really worth until the market has figured it out.
But as RC is used for blockchain operations and for creating accounts, and that it is not earning any APR for curation like HP does, plus given the level of RC we need compared to the HP delegated, then we will set RC delegation rewards to 10% of the weekly rewards we pay out, and HP delegations then get 90% of the rewards.
This means that it is not a big and sudden change, and if we should need to increase rewards for delegating RC then we can increase it if we want.
But given all factors, in the worst case scenario we should be able to have at least the RC we need to operate, or in a best case scenario we might get so much for even offering a reward on RC delegations that we have way more than needed and can then use it to create Hive accounts with.

The @youarealive account needs a lot of Resource Credits to operate our !ALIVE tipping bot, as well as doing the daily payouts of 0.43 BRO, 5 PGM and 5 LOLZ tokens to ALIVE stakeholders holding 1 ALIVE staked or more, and also 0.043 AWESOME to ALIVEM stakeholders each day.
To facilitate this need for Hive Power we are therefore rewarding Hive Power delegators with ALIVE tokens that we earn on @aliveandthriving each week, and @youarealive is also following the curation trail of @aliveandthriving to give Hive upvotes on the content which that manual curation project is upvoting.
The @aliveandthriving account is staking most tribe tokens, but a few others that it earns are traded for ALIVE, and the liquid Hive earned is also used to buy ALIVE with, in addition to the ALIVE that it earns in Curation and Author rewards.
Of these earnings 10% is staked to grow the Alive Power of the account, and the rest is then included in our weekly payouts to delegators.

Tipping Bot Level Boost
To further encourage Hive Power delegations we are working on our tipping bot to deliver a level boost if delegating 100 HP or more, this is not ready yet however, and will take some time to implement, further details will follow ahead.

So this week (Friday to Thursday) @fruityfruitz delegated 200 HP, and @ironshield delegated 100 HP, plus a few other delegators also increased their delegations, thank you very much.
Please note that delegations made this Friday will be included next week.
Also note that APR varies a bit from one week to the next, the price of our ALIVE token and how much we are earning of it are all factors to consider as well as how much HP is delegated, this week was lower based on Highest Bid and lower based on Lowest Ask.
